I grew up in California where attending church with my parents was routine, but I didn’t establish a personal relationship with God. After high school, I encountered a profound period of darkness, feeling utterly purposeless. It was during this low point that I realized I needed divine intervention. Remarkably, God answered by providing an opportunity to profoundly experience His presence in my hometown.

I enrolled in the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Carlsbad, where James served as the base leader. This program was transformative; it taught me the essentials of discipleship. Inspired by this newfound knowledge, I traveled to Chile to live out the principles of discipleship through active evangelism and ministry. This experience solidified my understanding that following Jesus is fundamentally about cultivating a relationship with Him.

The clarity of God’s purpose for my life became evident, stirring an excitement within me to pursue ministry. After completing my initial DTS, I returned to Chile to staff a DTS program. In this role, I mentored students, guiding them on their personal journeys to wholly embrace Christ.

Recently, I’ve been given the opportunity to return to Carlsbad to staff with James at YWAM Endless Summer, the place where my journey with God was reborn. This position offers the chance to expand and enhance the ministries within YWAM in North County, while I continue to develop critical skills in leadership and training.

My ambition here is to absorb as much knowledge and experience as possible, preparing me to enter the ministry field well-equipped for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
